Admission

Welcome

After visiting the Athenian School campus here at the base of Mt. Diablo, parents and caregivers often tell us that they wished they’d gone to a school like ours. Our ideal setting, extraordinary teachers and community of students that are curious, kind and eager to learn, is just the beginning. Here at Athenian, students cultivate friendships and character along with the skills and confidence to thrive as global citizens in college and beyond.

While school will no longer be in session, we know seeing our campus and hearing from our admission team is an important first step in the process of getting to know Athenian. We are offering a series of small-group info sessions along with a brief tour in June and July. These will be held on the following days and times:

  • Monday, June 16, 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Tuesday, June 24, 10:00 AM -11:15 AM
  • Wednesday, July 9, 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Wednesday, July 30, 10:00 AM -11:15 AM

If these events don’t align with your schedule, but you still would like a summer tour, we are offering tours on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM and Thursdays at 12:30 PM (from July 8 - August 5). We will be closed the first week of June 30.

Registration to attend info sessions and tours via Ravenna.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus and sharing the promise of an Athenian education.

Go Owls!

Why Athenian?

Athenian believes that the best way to truly comprehend academic subjects is to experience their application first hand. In our rigorous academic program, you and your peers will immerse yourselves in coursework, inspiring each other to think critically, problem solve, and collaborate as global citizens. You will graduate well prepared for college and and be poised for a life of intellectual exploration and meaningful contribution.

Don't just take our word for it, hear it from our graduates and parents.

Athenian Outcomes:

Meet our Ambassadors

Our student ambassadors represent the school to prospective families and students in ways only current students can. Ambassadors both "show and tell" Athenian's values, culture and educational experience as campus tour guides, lunch buddies and Open House participants.

Ambassadors are also available to connect individually with families. Please reach out to Jackie Soohoo if this is of interest.

Important Dates:

Even though many of these dates have passed, please reach out to our admission team if you're interested in applying.
